We traveled in mid October over Minnesota’s MEA. It was beautiful. The weather was gorgeous and the leaves were changing. Arlington has everything you need and is a very short drive to Washington DC. Hotel Pentagon, which was not a 4 or 5-star hotel as the rooms were large, but dated and could use some remodeling, however, the service staff was wonderful and attentive, the beds were comfortable, we had a fridge and microwave in the room, and the water was hot enough for a comfortable shower. They also offered a hot breakfast that was satisfying for those wanting a meal, and it was located right off the Rt. 395 exit in Arlington DC.
